A FEW FRIENDLY REMINDERS…
Detailed rules & regulations are posted on the back of the map provided to you at check-in. Please review them and be aware of the rules governing this park. Adherence to the rules is your responsibility and misuse of the park or disobeying the rules may result in expulsion from the park with no refunds.
Cancellations: RV and Tent Sites require 14 days notice, and will be refunded minus 10% processing fee (or can be applied to guest credit without a 10% charge for future reservations). Less than 14 days notice will not receive a refund. CABIN cancellations require 30 days minimum notice and will receive a refund minus 10% processing fee, anything less there is no refund.
Check-In / Check-Out: Check in is 3:00 pm on the day of your arrival. Check out is 1:00 pm on the day of your departure, to allow you and your family more time to enjoy Brialee. Rental check-out is 11:00 am, check-in time is 3:00 pm. Golf carts are only allowed for seasonal campers.
Reservation Payments: Reservations must be paid for in full at time of booking. Other arrangements can be made for multiple reservations, and must be approved by management.
Minimum Stay: There is a two-night minimum required in July and August for non-cabin rental sites. There is a one-week minimum stay required in July and August for rentals. (unless available for shorter time the week of arrival – call for availability)
Extra Persons: Reservations are for 2 adults and 3 unmarried children under the age of 21. Extra adults are $5 per night, children under the age of 21 are $3 per night, children 3 and under are free, extra person fees must be paid at time of booking, otherwise visitor fees apply. Extra adults must stay in your camping unit, a tent may not be put up on the site for extra persons or a no hook-up site fee will be charged. These are non-holiday rates. If reserving for a holiday, then holiday rates apply (inquire at office). This is not intended to allow another family to camp on your site with you. Even if they are related to you. This is a fee, for example, if your mom and dad were to come and stay in your unit – you now have 4 adults. If another family is camping with you, even if related, they will be obligated to pay a full site fee and will be put on a separate site.
Firewood: Brialee does not allow outside wood of any kind to be brought in to our park. We will confiscate it. This is to protect the trees within our park from the wood/tree insects that have become prevalent throughout the MA and CT area in recent years. We do sell bundled wood at a discount at the store and have cord wood available for those staying for longer duration.
Quiet Hour: 11 pm strictly enforced. All youth under the age of 21 must be back at their sites by 10:30 (curfew) or 15 minutes after the end of the evening event (at the latest) unless accompanied by an adult. Any emergencies please come to the office during business hours.
Site Issues: Other emergencies consisting of site, noise, misbehaving, and other security issues, please call Security at
860 377-1731. If it’s a medical emergency- call Security. All calls to 911 must be reported to Security immediately to assist emergency with finding your site. Thank you!
Bikes: Bikes are to be ridden responsibly, according to the same rules followed by motorized vehicles. Bikes may not be ridden on paved walks, grassy common areas, or under pavilions. Bikes must not be parked in walkways or under pavilion- use bike racks when at all possible. No bikes are permitted in front of the store. We encourage all riders to wear helmets. Bikes must be returned to site and may not be ridden after dusk.
Fishing: Fishing permitted. Catch & release policy. Fishing is not permitted in front of seasonal waterfront sites, rentals, cabin rentals or off of the boat dock. Bass must be returned to the water. Trout- 2 catch limit per day. (If cooking)
Golf Carts / Motorcycles /Scooters/Electric vehicles: Brialee doesn’t permit motorcycles of any kind to enter the park; riders will be required to park their vehicles for the duration of the stay at the FRONT OR REAR OF THE PARK IN VISITORS PARKING! No exceptions. Scooters, electric vehicles, including children’s toy electric-operated vehicles/ toys are not permitted at any time. This includes adult and children scooters, mopeds, and other motorized bikes, as well. Brialee has the right to request any activity deemed unsafe or disruptive to be stopped and/ or put away without further notice. Brialee does not allow Golf Carts for any campers, except Seasonal Campers and Golf Cart Rentals.
Pets: Pets must remain on leash at all times. Please practice common courtesy and pick up after your pet and properly dispose of after. Pets are not allowed on the swimming beach -but enjoy the Pet Beach instead! Please follow all posted signs for areas pets are not permitted. Please keep barking dogs under control so as not to interfere with other campers around you. We reserve the right to ask you to remove your pet from the park. No visitor pets. No pets in rentals or on rental sites. No pets in buildings, game field, or Brandon’s Place.
Trash: Weekend Campers- trash will be picked up at 11:00 and 2:30. Must be left, bagged and tied, by your site. Trash left after 2:30 must be removed by you. No bulky waste- those items must be removed from the park by you.
Vandalism: Please be respectful of Brialee property. Acts of vandalism of any kind will not be tolerated. First act will result in minimum of a warning. Second act will result in expulsion from the park.
Visitors: Visitors will be charged $8.00 per person per day (ages 5 and up) (holiday rates are $10), regardless of arrival or departure time. Visitors will not be allowed to bring their vehicles to your site for any reason- it must remain at the front in the visitor’s lot. Visitors may not bring pets. Visitors must adhere to all campground rules and regulations. Overnight visitors are $15 and may not put up a tent on your site- that will be subject to an additional fee equal to a no-hookup rate per night. Holiday visitor rates are higher. These rates are for all visitors, regardless of visiting whether you are visiting seasonal or weekend campers – and all other rules still apply.
